Lewis And Clark: You may work in pairs on this project.
To make the journal cover, take a brown grocery sack and cut it so that it makes a journal cover like we have always made.
Crumple the paper repeatedly until it becomes soft and like leather.  Decorate the cover with the Journals of Lewis and Clark expedition, and the name of one of the people on the expedition.  Find a representative image of that person and place it on the cover.  Put ten sheets of paper in it.

Create a direction sheet telling elementary  teachers how to create this journal.  Include the web address where they can find more information on Lewis and Clark in Wyandotte County, http://www.arthes.com/lewisandclark/
Mail it to a teacher in Kansas City, Kansas schools.

Quindaro Project- You may work in pairs on this project.
